The Confédération Africaine de Football invites parties to express their interest, regarding the appointment of an agency for the exclusive commercialization of the TV rights in terrestrial Free-To-Air for sub-saharan area.
This ITT is open to agencies that have, in the sole opinion of CAF, the appropriate infrastructure, reach, resources and financial standing to provide commercialization services in respect of the following CAF COMPETITIONS: - TOTAL AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS 2019 / 2021 - PRELIMINARY TOURNAMENT OF THE AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS 2021 / 2023 - TOTAL AFRICAN NATIONS CHAMPIONSHIP 2020 / 2022 - TOTAL WOMEN’S AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS 2020 / 2022 - TOTAL U-23 AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS 2019 - TOTAL U-20 AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS 2021 / 2023 - TOTAL U-17 AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS 2021 / 2023 - TOTAL FUTSAL AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS 2020 - BEACH SOCCER AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS 2020 / 2022 - TOTAL CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2019-2020 / 2020-2021 / 2021-2022 /2022-2023 - TOTAL CAF CONFEDERATION CUP 2019-2020 / 2020-2021 / 2021-2022 /2022-2023 - TOTAL CAF SUPER CUP 2020 / 2021 / 2022 / 2023
The purpose of the Invitation to Tender (“ITT”) is to invite selected Bidders to submit proposals (each, a “Bid”) for the provision of commercialization services in relation to the CAF COMPETITIONS, no later than 07 March 2019. The services requirements are described in more detail in the ITT document.
Each recipient Bidder of the ITT is invited by CAF to participate in the ITT process on the basis of CAF’s understanding of their experience in the TV rights commercialization of firstclass international sporting events (in particular international football competitions) and other criteria. Such invitation is not a guarantee that any Bidder will be successful with its Bid.
Interested parties must express their interest by sending to CAF an official letter (on headed notepaper) in English or French requesting the official ITT documents from CAF.
This letter shall include: - Company information o General Information regarding the company: ! Full Corporate Name of Bidder; ! Address, telephone number and fax number of registered office and principal place of business, if different; ! Country of incorporation and company registration number and legal status; ! Type of business activity o Contact details of Bidder nominated contact person; o Composition of board of directors; o Company structure chart showing the ultimate holding company and all group companies (including ownership structure of all group companies and shareholdings in ultimate holding company).
- Relevant Experience and Track Record o Details of the Bidder’s experience and expertise in providing similar services;

CAF shall determine, at its sole discretion, the parties to whom it shall send the official ITT documents. Unsuccessful applicants will be informed accordingly. Interested parties are reminded that incomplete and/or late applications shall not be reviewed by CAF.

All information provided and representations made to CAF are not false, inaccurate or misleading; 2. All information provided by CAF, including (without limitation) all information given by CAF in the present invitation and all the ITT documentation to be receive from CAF shall remain strictly confidential at all times; 3. None of our representatives or employees shall make any form of public announcement or statement relating directly or indirectly to this invitation and/or the proposals resulting from this invitation to any media without the prior written approval of CAF and that noncompliance will lead to the penalty of being held responsible for any damages caused; 4. All intellectual property rights and all commercial rights in relation to CAF and/or, the present invitation, all the ITT documentation and any proposals resulting from this invitation shall belong and/or accrue exclusively to CAF; 5. CAF shall not be held responsible for any costs, expenses and/or liabilities incurred in the preparation of the proposals resulting from this invitation, any responses to requests for further information by CAF and any negotiations with CAF following receipt by CAF of such proposals; 6. Any association with CAF in any manner whatsoever without the prior written approval of CAF is strictly prohibited; 7. CAF shall not be required to accept any proposal submitted in response to this invitation and to the ITT documentation, and reserves the right to re-open the invitation of tender at a later stage; 8. This statement of undertaking, the selection procedure and any related documentation shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of France. Place of jurisdiction shall be Paris, France.
