Prove your creative ability and win a trip to the Dubai Lynx International Festival of Creativity
Take the challenge
Dubai Lynx and YouTube invite you to enter The Dubai Lynx 7-Day Brief, a new competition that will let you put your creative powers to the test, raise awareness for a charity and, if you win, springboard your career prospects though the experience of a lifetime.
Here's how
Create your ad
At midday on 6 February, a brief will be released for a well-known charity. You then have seven days to make a short film of 30-60 seconds that fills the brief creatively and effectively.
Share it on YouTube and enter
Post your video on your YouTube channel by midday GST 13 Februaryand enter the competition at http://youtube7daybrief.dubailynx.com/.
The judging
Your film will be judged by a panel of top creatives from the region who will evaluate the ad for its creativity. They will also consider its online footprint and the number of views and video ratings it generated. The two ads that score highest will be announced as winners on Tuesday 26 February.
The prize
The two Grand Prize winners will win an all-expenses-paid trip to the Dubai Lynx International Festival of Creativity from 10-13 March 2013. They will also have the unique opportunity to meet with a Dubai Lynx jury president for 30 minutes during the Festival.
Second and third place winners and those shortlisted will receive a digital certificate / e-logo in recognition of their achievements.
Who can enter?
Participants must be over 18, residing or working in the MENA region and be registered users of the YouTube website.

Using music in your film
Please don’t use any copyrighted music in your film as we cannot consider entries with copyrighted music.
