Dubai International Music Awards


Dubai International Music Awards (DIMA) today announced the opening dates of Dubai's 1st International Music Awards ceremony, which will be held on 22nd November 2013 in association with Emaar Properties. The event will take place at Burj Park in Downtown Dubai, Emaar's flagship lifestyle destination, billed as 'The Centre of Now.' The DIMA will bring well-known artists from every continent with an extravagant fireworks display designed by Groupe F.
The official launch of the 1st Dubai International Music awards will take place during a live streaming press conference by YouTube on the 124th floor of Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, in the presence of the international panel of judges and the president in charge of the Awards Nomination such as:

The DIMA will pay homage to 67 talented artists from more than 20 countries and 5 continents that are responsible for keeping music alive and influential around the world. "The Dubai International Music Awards has marked the beginning of a new era for recognizing and applauding the achievements of talented musicians from all around the world. One of our goals is to make Dubai the world capital of Music during this history-making event," said Asri Bendacha, Executive Producer DIMA "This will be the first music awards ceremony that will be broadcasted online with worldwide access and we are looking forward to the celebrations next year."

The DIMA 2013 official launch will take place at the Burj Khalifa on Tuesday 22nd January during a live streaming press conference on YouTube. According to YouTube facts, the MENA region ranked second, after USA and before Brazil, in terms of the number of daily views.
