The IP&TV Forum MENA has been rebranded as the TV Connect MENA Event to reflect a future forward name that addresses all cool aspects of TV delivery including IPTV, OTTtv, multiplatform services and interactive content creation.
The TV Connect MENA Event will be half price for Gulf Service Providers and will be free for African & South East Asian Service Providers.
Etisalat will remain the Operator Partner for the event and will take their support to the next level by hosting the pre-conference, OTT Special Focus Day on the 29th October 2012.
They will also host the Etisalat Entertainment Network Zone which will showcase Etisalat’s closely linked partners who are creating a best of breed deployment of converged services, offering easy and anywhere access no matter the “screen”. Close by in the Exhibition Hall will be the Etisalat Content Theatre which will host regular presentations will take you through the entire process of content ingestion, preparation, application of business rules, content protection, screen/device management, content delivery, monetisation and app development.
