Cable cars across the Thames will be ready in time for London Olympics
Spectators will be able to travel to the Olympics arena across the Thames in cable cars, it has emerged. Although it was feared that the £50 million network would not be completed in time, an application for final approval has been received by Transport Secretary Justine Greening. Security checks have been carried out in the past few weeks and it is hoped that it will be ready by the time the Games start on July 27.
